The design incorporates a curved roof and canopy design with six 70-foot masts supported by stainless steel cables, which allows the ballroom to be a column-free open space and provides an unobstructed view. It also includes complex elements such as plate girders with rolled top flanges and cone-shaped rolled cover plates.
